My 2026 AI Productivity Stack (That Saves Me 12 Hours a Week)

Best AI productivity tools in 2026? After a year of testing, here's the exact stack I use daily. Combined, these tools save me about 12 hours a week. I tracked it.

1. ChatGPT Plus ($20/mo).

My all-purpose thinking partner. Used 30+ times a day for drafts, brainstorming, code, summaries, and translations. Custom GPTs let me one-click my most common workflows.

2. Granola ($14/mo).

Meeting notes that don't suck. Granola listens to my calls, writes structured notes, extracts action items, and lets me ask 'what did we decide about X?' weeks later.

3. Raycast Pro ($8/mo).

Command-palette + AI Quick Answers + AI Commands. Replaces Spotlight, Alfred, and most of my window switching. The AI integration is sneaky-powerful.

4. Notion AI ($10/mo add-on).

Wiki + project management + AI Q&A on top of all my notes. My second brain. Honestly the only reason I stay on Notion.

5. Superhuman with Auto-summarize (free with their plan).

AI summaries on every email, AI draft replies, AI write-with-my-voice. Email goes from 90 min/day to 30.

6. Read.ai (free tier).

Auto-transcribes every meeting, generates a TL;DR, scores engagement. The TL;DR feature means I can skip 30% of meetings.

7. Whisper / MacWhisper ($20 one-time).

Local audio transcription. I dictate emails, blog drafts, and ideas while walking. Output is 90%+ accurate without any cloud round-trip.

8. Perplexity Pro (bundled).

My default search engine for the last 18 months. Cited answers in 2 seconds beats clicking through 6 blue links.

Total monthly spend: ~$80.

Tracked time saved: ~12 hours/week. At even $50/hour fully loaded cost, this stack is the highest-ROI subscription bundle of my career.
